Boron containing polyethylene sheet is polymerized by adding boron element into the raw material of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE). It is a good protective material for modern protection industry.The material produces gamma rays under the action of neutrons. Compared with isolated neutrons, gamma ray is a secondary dose. In the boron containing polyethylene ball, boron is the main absorption. The reaction cross-section of boron to low-energy neutrons is relatively large. Before hydrogen reaction, low-energy neutrons have been completely absorbed by boron. When the mass percentage of boron containing polyethylene is 10% and the thickness is 15 cm, the isolation effect of boron containing polyethylene for neutrons has reached the requirements. On this basis, if the boron content or thickness is increased, the integral leakage of neutron does not change.
